Farm Bureau has put together a list of impressive numbers that highlight weather and climate disasters. Last year there were 18 disasters with damages exceeding $1 billion. Drought and wildfires accounted for $20 billion in crop losses, from Texas to Kansas to South Dakota. For many years they’ve tried to make crop insurance programs work for all crops.
