STORY: Hundreds of residents of Ukraine's Lviv gathered to mourn a mother and three daughters killed in a Russian strike on Wednesday (September 4).
Seven civilians were killed and more than 50 wounded in Wednesday's drone and missile attack that hit a residential area of the city.
Seven-year old-Emiliia, 18-year-old Dariia and 21-year-old Yaryna shared a funeral with their mother Yevenhiia Bazylevych.
The funeral took place on Friday, as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy urged Western allies to ignore Moscow's "red lines" and allow Kyiv to use long-range weapons for strikes on Russian territory.
At a U.S. hosted gathering of Ukraine's allies in Germany, Zelenskiy presented the long-range strike options as a way to pressure Russia to end the war.
Washington pledged a further $250 million in weaponry for Kyiv.
Germany promised to supply an additional 12 self-propelled howitzers to Kyiv while Canada said it planned to send more than 80,000 surplus small unarmed air-to-surface rockets as well as 1,300 warheads in the coming months.
