WINNEBAGO COUNTY, Ill. — A Corrections Officer with the Winnebago County Sheriff's Office has been arrested.
On September 21 around 8:00 p.m., Winnebago County Sheriff's Deputies responded to reports of a disturbance in the 3200 block of Lookout Drive in Rockford.
After an investigation, Winnebago County State's Attorney's Office authorized the following charges:
- Elizabeth Malget, 43, Rockford, Domestic Battery
Malget is a Corrections Officer with the Winnebago County Sheriff's Office and has been placed on Administrative Leave.
The charges against Malget are merely accusations and she is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
