ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) - One man is hurt, and an investigation is underway Tuesday after a shooting on Rockfords southeast side.
Rockford police say the man was shot just before 6:30 at an unknown location. The man drove to the Exxon gas station at 11th street and 18th avenue where police found him. He was then taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No word yet on any suspects in the case or exactly what happened leading up to the shooting.
Several units responded to investigate, but no further information has been released at this time.
